-

Glen Gulutzan is the new head coach of the Calgary Flames after three years as an assistant with the Vancouver Canucks. “I know there’s some history between Vancouver and Calgary, but I’m used to this flaming ‘C,’ ” said Gulutzan, who was head coach and GM of Calgary’s ECHL affiliate in Las Vegas from 2003-09. Gulutzan went 64-57-9 as head coach of the Dallas Stars from 201113, missing the playoffs both seasons. He replaces Bob Hartley.
