Will Canada react to Iraq War findings?
Re. “Inquiry slams Blair’s decision to invade,” July 7
A long-awaited report is in the hands of the world declaring major failures and mistakes in the United Kingdom-United States-led invasion of Iraq. I have not heard any response from the Government of Canada.
As a Canadian citizen, I express my deep concern over the findings of the report.
I am eager to know what action the Canadian government is going to take. I suggest that this report should be discussed in parliament and logical compensation for the Iraqi people and responsibility of this war should be fixed on the leaders who took this decision. At the face of it, these leaders should be tried in international court. Azhar Hussain, Edmonton
