A 37-year-old man is dead after a three-vehicle crash Monday near Tees.

Blackfalds RCMP and emergency crews responded to the pileup on Highway 12 around 4 p.m.

According to a news release, a tractor trailer truck rear-ended an eastbound Ford F-350 pickup that was stopped to make a left turn. The crash forced the pickup into the oncoming lane, where it was struck by a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV.
