Man accused of giving alcohol to girls for sexual favours
A Fort Saskatchewan man is facing charges after allegedly providing alcohol to two underage girls in exchange for sexual favours.
Jordan Disu, 21, is charged with two counts of sexual assault and a pair of sexual interference charges in connection with incidents reported to RCMP on April 2.
The Criminal Code defines sexual interference as touching a person under the age of 16 for a sexual purpose.
Disu is scheduled to appear in provincial court in Fort Saskatchewan on June 1.
In a news release, Staff Sgt. Mike McCauley of the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP said: “It’s important for young people to watch out for each other, and to listen to their instincts” in situations involving alcohol and sexual activity.
“If a situation doesn’t feel completely right, trust your instincts and remove yourself from the situation.”
