Lightfoot makes for light feet

The pop, rock, folk, and electronic bouillabaisse that is The Hearts is impossible to describe, but very easy to listen to. The Edmonton-based six-piece, formerly known as Jeff Stuart and The Hearts, has been shifting members in the last while, welcoming in singer-songwriter Alex Vissia as they continue promoting their masterly late-2015 release Equal Love. They’ll be joined by Calgary folk-rockers Northern Beauties and Edmonton’s own Post Script for this concert. When: Thursday, May 11 at 8 p.m. Where: Needle Vinyl Tavern, 10524 Jasper Ave.
