SHREDMONTON

Some of the heaviest acts that Alberta and B.C. have to offer will be on display at this year’s heavy metal themed Shredmonton, taking place over a weekend stretch at the Mercury Room. Edmonton and Calgary are represented by the likes of Bleed, Scarlet Serenity, Krepitus, Burning Effigy, and Eye of Horus, while Vancouver’s Unleash the Archers and Hamilton’s Voltang are the out-ofprovince guests. Stick around for the industry portion of the event, with such seminars as Stage Moves with Jesse Valstar, a recording and live sound clinic, and a publicity and promotion clinic.
