SHARK WEEK PROGRAMMING
The annual fin-tastic event continues with four broadcasts. In Sharks and the City: L.A., Chris Lowe investigates why great white shark sightings are increasing near Los Angeles. Then, in the new special Shark Exile, Fabio Hazin has reduced the number of shark encounters in Brazil by simply catching and moving sharks out to the open sea. He explores whether that solution will work in Australia. After that, it’s Shark Storm, in which Tristan Guttridge investigates why sharks gather and swarm at different times of the year around the world. Finally, the talk show Shark After Dark airs the episode The Sharkiest Place on Earth, in which Charlize Theron and cinematographer Andy Casagrande answer Shark Week fan questions. (Discovery)
