I’ve managed to change my diet in the last year. I lost 35 pounds and brought myself down to a weight I haven’t been at for 25 years. But I’ve struggled to find the time to get fit.

My goal is to start this and maintain it. I’m often good for two weeks when I set out to go to a gym, but then after that you get sore, or you can’t continue. I’m thinking 12 weeks is a really good period to create some good habits. I really want to maintain this as a lifestyle change.

DANIELLE NAULT-CANNING, 38, OPERATIONS MANAGER AT CAREGIVERS HOME HEALTH CARE INC.

I travel a lot, and usually leading up to our trip, I develop anxiety. I’m terrified I won’t fit into the seat on the plane. My biggest goal is to be able to go the airport and not even think about it, just know that I’m going to fit. I don’t have a specific number in mind.

WILLY GRANT, 45, FEATURES CO-ORDINATOR, POSTMEDIA

Last year I lost some weight. Then I went on vacation and never went back on my diet. I’d like to lose 100 pounds or more. That’s not going to happen in three months, obviously, but hopefully this health challenge sets the foundation for some healthy habits moving forward.
