Citadel denies free speech

Re. “Shame on Citadel Theatre for failing to champion cause of free expression,” David Staples, Jan. 19

David Staples’s column was bang on.

I can’t fully comprehend a theatre company that uses their power over infrastructure, paid for in large part by public dollars, to bully someone out of their free speech rights.

The irony is a bit like someone with an interest in ethics and morality having a friend recommend the online course on the subject from Trump University.
