Excel Homes offers attractive home options in Cavanagh
Company boasts 11 unique designs and Built Green certification for efficiency
Excel Homes is bringing its expertise to the south Edmonton community of Cavanagh. Situated right alongside Highway 2, and just off 30 Avenue SW, Cavanagh is a great community in which to start or raise a family.
“I think it’s just a great, allencompassing community,” said Stephanie Chapman, marketing specialist with Excel Homes.
Excel Homes has 11 different models available within Cavanagh, spread over three different housing types — front-drive garage homes, laned homes and duplexes. Several of the models have special quirks that make them unique, Chapman added.
The Porter, a laned home, was named a finalist for the BILD Calgary awards for best new home.
The Porter, along with its counterpart the Huntley, is also designed so that it can incorporate an optional loft space.
The loft is a perfect for growing teenagers or live-in in-laws, Chapman said, and is large enough to fit a full bedroom, bathroom and lounge area.
Buying into and building with Excel Homes means you get to be a part of a company that is both environmentally conscious and dedicated to making the buying process as smooth as possible.
“Our houses are environmentally friendly, and they’re also going to help save you money,” Chapman said, explaining the company’s laned and front-garage homes are Built Green certified with such enhancements as efficient appliances, triple-pane windows and low-flow toilets.
And when it comes to wanting to make the buying process smooth, Excel Homes has a set list of preplanned upgrade options.
This means when you buy a house and know what upgrades you want, you simply need to consult the list and you’ll know what your home’s price will be.
“It takes the guesswork out of it,” Chapman said.
Cavanagh features a convenient location and variety of amenities. The neighbourhood offers easy access to several of south Edmonton’s main thoroughfares, with several shopping options nearby.
But the community ’s natural attractions also present an attractive bonus for area residents.
“Within the community there are lots of parks, pathways and green spaces,” Chapman said. “All of the new communities are planned to engage people and get them outside and get them involved in the community.”
