The proposed rezoning for Lot 5A, Block 32, Plan 0022925; Lot 9, Block 32, Plan 0022004; Lot 12, Block 32, Plan 0523447; Lot 15A, Block 32, Plan 0929835; Lot 16, Block 32, Plan 1324273; Units 1 409, Condominium Plan 0923263; and Units 1 - 500, Condominium Plan 0940297; located at 2303, 2423 and 2611 - 111 Street NW and 2504, 2606, 2608, and 2610 - 109 Street NW from (PU) Public Utility Zone and (DC2) Site Specific Development Control Provision to a (DC2) Site Specific Development Control Provision would allow for the addition of the PU zoned lot, addressed as 2611 - 111 Street NW, to the larger high-density, residential and commercial mixed-use, transit-oriented urban village under development next to the Century Park LRT Station. The existing DC2.952 amendment includes revising regulations pertaining to parking, density and phasing in the public amenity contribution. The regulations in the proposed DC2 Provision will continue to allow for the temporary transition of the City-owned park and ride provision to continue, but as a privately owned and operated lot. An amendment to the Kaskitayo Outline Plan accompanies the associated proposed rezoning. City Planning supports this proposed Charter Bylaw.
