YOGURT WAFFLES

Makes: about 6

1 1/4 cups (310 mL) flour

2 tbsp (30 mL) sugar

1 1/2 tsp (7.5 mL) baking powder

1 tsp (5 mL) baking soda

1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt

2 cups (500 mL) plain yogurt

1/4 cup (60 mL) butter, melted

2 eggs

1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla

1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

2. Whisk together yogurt, butter, eggs and vanilla until blended. Add yogurt mixture to flour mixture and stir until combined.

3. Cook in waffle iron according to manufactur­er’s instructio­ns.
