White House reporter in the wrong

Edmonton Journal - - LETTERS -

All I’ve seen regarding the Trump news conference in which reporter Jim Acosta might have bumped or hit the young lady trying to get the microphone was that Acosta is exonerated and that it is Trump’s fault.

All of the news I’ve seen has been about other reporters’ comments. How about a comment from someone outside the media?

I’m not a fan of Trump but he wasn’t the one who was belligerent; it was Acosta. Trump had told Acosta he would not answer any more of his questions and asked him to pass the mic back to the young lady. Acosta kept the mic and tried to ask another question, which wasn’t heard or answered.

I’m old-fashioned and respect when my boss tells me to sit down. I wouldn’t keep pressing with another question because if this were in a company, I would probably be fired.
