Calgary man takes handgun on plane

Mexican media reported Friday that a Calgary man arriving on a WestJet flight was found to be concealing an automatic handgun and ammunition in a checked bag. The report states the man lacked necessary documentation to bring the weapon into Mexico and was arrested at Cancun International Airport. Global Affairs Canada confirmed Friday that a Canadian citizen has been arrested in Mexico.
