Rosedale Seniors’ Living is a locally owned and operated seniors’ residence that offers health care services, recreational programming and a supportive community to residents.
Their mandate is to create a friendly, welcoming environment where seniors can socialize and get to know others while receiving the housing, care and services they need to maintain independence for as long as possible.
This year they won Silver in the Readers’ Choice Award Seniors Residence category.
“Rosedale offers health care and personal services to residents in the comfort, security and privacy of their own suite at an affordable price,” says Linda Tulloch, Manager at Rosedale.
“Health care services are available around the clock with health care staff on site, 24 hours a day.”
Located in the Oliver neighbourhood in downtown Edmonton, Rosedale offers one- and two-bedroom suites that feature full kitchens and walk-in showers.
Within the facility, residents enjoy a large, open common area, a dining room with a full-service menu, laundry facilities and heated underground parking. Services also include a 24-Hour Emergency Response System, a variety of recreational programs, and weekly housekeeping and laundering of linens and towels.
“The residents and staff are very happy and proud that Rosedale was voted one of the best seniors’ residences in the city,” says Tulloch.
“One resident said, ‘I am so lucky to be living in this building because the Edmonton Journal confirmed what I already knew from living here: this is one of the best seniors’ residences in Edmonton.’”
Rosedale has two locations, one just south of Jasper Avenue, at 10053 111 St. and one just north of Jasper at 10101 111 St., close to parks, a grocery store, shops, churches and the Edmonton General Hospital.
