UCP hypocritical on property rights

I have a question for the UCP. If, as reported in the Journal’s March 11 issue, they are so keen on protecting property rights, especially the farmers’, why did all the UCP MLAs on the Standing Committee on Resource Stewardship vote in October 2017 against fairness and equity in settling property rights disputes, an important issue for rural Albertans, notably those saddled with orphan wells on their properties? It’s hypocrisy. Gilles Gamas, Hinton
