Maj. Steve Kuervers was among the last Canadian soldiers to leave Afghanistan. Incorrect information appeared in a column on A2 Monday.

Because of a typographical error, an article on loneliness published on NP1 Saturday incorrectly quoted author Christopher Lane as saying nearly 300 million Americans live alone. In fact, Lane said nearly 30 million Americans live alone.
