DRAKE GETS CELEBRATORY INK

- Chris Arnold

In 2018, Drake beat The Beatles’ 1964 record for most top-10 songs in a year, with 12 to the Fab Four’s 11. The Canadian rapper recently showed off a new tattoo re-creating the Abbey Road album art with himself in the front looking back toward the group and waving.

Drake, shown, rapped on Meek Mill’s 2018 song Going Bad: “Back home smoking legal. I got more slaps than the Beatles.”

His new album, Care Package, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart this week, his ninth to achieve the feat. It’s a collection of songs released from 2010 to 2016, previously unavailable for conventional streaming.

The tattoo reveal comes days after the 50th anniversary of the iconic Beatles photo shoot. Abbey Road will be reissued in a special box set later this year.
