Police seek armed suspects after store robbery

Edmonton city police are releasing images of three suspects after a southeast Filipino grocery store was held up at gunpoint last week.

Three masked suspects entered the Kabayan Filipino Store, located at a strip mall along 42 Avenue and 66 Street in Mill Woods, just before 8 p.m. on Oct. 15. Police said in a Thursday news release the three approached the front counter with a handgun and demanded cash from the store clerk. They then fled with cash.

Police believe the three were in the strip mall area for about 40 minutes before the robbery took place.

One suspect is described by police as male with dark skin, wearing an Adidas hoodie with ‘Brothers Through Everything ’ on the back. He was wearing Puma track pants with a blue stripe running down the leg.

The other two suspects are described as males with dark skin. Police said witnesses described the males as having East Indian accents.
