More discussion, less rhetoric
Re. “Time to depolarize energy-climate conversation,” Opinion, Oct. 22 Congratulations to Gareth Thomson, Melissa Easton and Tanya Doran and to Malcolm Mayes’ accompanying cartoon.
It was the best description of one of the dirtiest of Canada’s federal election campaigns that I witnessed since coming to the Edmonton area in 1962.
The title: Time to depolarize energy-climate conversation and the cartoon of mud-covered Trudeau and Scheer hit the nail on the head. Let us hope that not only our federal but provincial politicians heed the subtitle of this op-ed: We need more discussion and less rhetoric. Let us not be as divisive as our neighbours to the south or our mother countries across the pond. Martin Katz, St. Albert
