BREAKING BAD MOVIE A BIG HIT
Jesse Pinkman is badder than ever, and people can’t get enough of him.
Netflix U.S. tweeted Wednesday that 25,734,392 households had streamed El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie in its first week of release.
Netflix is usually secretive about viewership statistics and these numbers have yet to be verified by anyone independent of the streaming site.
Series creator Vince Gilligan wrote and directed the movie, which follows Pinkman (played by actor Aaron Paul, shown) directly after the events of the television series that ran from 2008 to 2013.
Paul won three Emmys for his performance on the show that also starred Bryan Cranston as Walter White, Pinkman’s cancer-ridden mentor cooking meth to make money for his family.
