George Clooney’s U.K. country home flooded
George and Amal Clooney’s country estate in England suffered flooding after Storm Dennis’s excessive rain and high winds this week. The River Thames in Berkshire, the tony region where the movie star lives with his wife
Amal and their two-year-old twins, broke its banks and almost submerged the grounds, leaving the couple’s tennis court, basketball court, veranda and much of the lawn severely damaged. The couple purchased the 17th century home on an island in the river after their 2014 wedding, and moved in after an 18-month
refurbishment.
