Stars buoy bullied child

Hugh Jackman is among the stars backing a fundraising drive led by comedian Brad Williams for a bullied Australian Indigenous child to visit Disneyland in California, the Australian Broadcasting Corp. reports. Quaden Bayles, 9, suffers from achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism. The Gofundme page had rocketed past $355,000 midday Friday. Bayles says in a video his mother had posted that the bullying made him want to kill himself. “It really broke my heart when I saw Quade,” said Williams, who also has dwarfism. “Quaden — you’ve got a friend in me,” Jackman said. “You’re stronger than you know.”
