Woman, 49, faces murder charge
Police have charged a Lloydminster woman with second-degree murder after a 51-year-old man was found dead in the Alberta-saskatchewan border city Tuesday.
The Alberta RCMP major crimes unit is investigating after Mounties responded to a call around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning about a man who appeared to be dead inside a home on 47A Avenue. An autopsy is scheduled for later this week.
Elaine Behm, 49, of Lloydminster has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the death of Darren Behm, 51.
Elaine Behm was remanded into custody after a judicial hearing and is set to appear in Lloydminster provincial court Thursday.
