The former Disney star made history on the social media subscription service last week by becoming the first account holder to bank US$1 million in her first 24 hours, and she says her earnings from posting content and engaging with fans have doubled. Thorne plans to use the profits for charity and to establish a production company, and she’s planning to make a film with The Florida Project director Sean Baker about her experience. “It’s a feature we are researching as I’m living it currently,” she said.
