NEW GAME FOR BREWMASTERS

Virtual brew? Who knew? A video game based on brewing beer is coming to Playstation, Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch next year. Brewmaster, developed by Auroch Digital and published by Sold Out, will explore the intricacies of the homebrewing trend.

Players will set up a home brewery, create recipes and enter homebrew competitions.

“From perfecting authentic, chemistry-driven brewing techniques to naming, bottling and labelling — refine your craft to become the ultimate Brewmaster in the first ever realistic beer brewing experience,” reads the game's description.

Of course, you can't taste any of your concoctions in the game, but maybe it'll inspire you to try out a recipe in real life. A release date and pricing for Brewmaster have yet to be announced.
