Wasting time on equalization

As far as I know, Alberta has never sent a cheque for a single equalization dollar to Ottawa. Albertans pay federal income tax at the same rate as Quebecers. Albertans do that based on income levels of more than $125,000 while Quebecers do that based on income levels of less than $85,000.

Does Travis Toews really want to level that playing field even though it's not his field to play on? He and his cohorts should waste less time throwing stones on someone else's field and fix what's on Alberta's field instead of mismanaging everything they touch. Ken Cantor, Edmonton
