COVID-19 is a war — do your part

Premier Jason Kenney and his team have continued to mishandle this pandemic. We have been first four times and this is nothing to be proud of. Strong leadership and wise decisions have been needed. Alberta's leadership continues with their own agenda — Calgary Stampede, really? Kenney and his team continue to be reactive leaders rather than proactive leaders.

Exciting to open up Alberta with minimal restrictions? We again are predictably first as we enter the fourth wave. Dr. Deena Hinshaw took a gamble and was warned by her colleagues that this could have dire consequences.

Albertans, are you part of the problem or part of the solution? You have your freedom because of the men and women who fought in WWII.

Can you imagine going to war without a gun? By not getting vaccinated, you have chosen to go to war without a gun. The road to freedom in this war against the virus is by getting vaccinated.

Show how much you care for your family and friends, as well as the medical profession, and do your part in this war against a very deadly virus and protect everyone by getting vaccinated.
