eskimos running back c.j. Gable led the way with 97 yards from scrimmage on 15 touches. He caught all four passes that came his way for 50 yards, while chugging for 47 more on the ground before being pulled with a knee injury late in the third quarter. unfortunately, he ended up three yards shy of becoming the first eskimos player since Mike Pringle in 2003-04 to earn back-to-back seasons with 1,000 rushing yards. Here’s hoping he’s healthy enough to get back in the lineup Saturday against the b.c. Lions. but even if he does, one guy can’t possibly do it all by himself.
