Roger Moore’s son Geoffrey believes his dad made the right decision to quit his role as James bond after seven movies.
the actor played 007 from 1973 to 1985, and his portrayal of the british secret service agent is one of the most celebrated in the history of the franchise.
58 when he stepped down from the role and, speaking to britain’s Daily Mail newspaper, Geoffrey insisted he’s relieved his dad made the decision, because his on-screen relationships with younger bond girls wouldn’t have aged well as he got older.
“He was kissing leading ladies and they were in their twenties,” he said. “Plus, they’d already found a substitute.”
