ELLE (Canada)

HOPELESSLY DEVOTED

-

I’ve been reading ELLE since I was 16 and growing up in Beijing. When I moved to Canada in 2012, the first thing I did was buy an ELLE Canada at the airport, and I’ve been reading it ever since. Three articles in the September issue meant something to me: I used to wear granny pyjamas, but after reading “The Nightie Revolution: Why Dressing Up for Bed Will Change Your Life” [ELLE Special], I bought a silk nightgown. “No More Fear” [ELLE Special] is a good reminder not to worry about what others think; there will always be someone who dislikes your style. The third story is #lifereboot —it must take courage for Stephanie Gilman to overcome her fears. Her article reminded me not to complain about my life and to live in the moment. CHEN DU, EMAIL
