“Mom! Come and see!” shouts my young son. He hurriedly passes me a magazine, jabbing at a picture of a model in a SpongeBob SquarePants outfit. “Look! You can wear this!” He then flips to page 115 and says, “Why don’t you dress like this, Mom? This magazine says you can. Can I put this on my wall?!” So, there you go, ELLE Canada: You have a convert in a six-yearold. And as for me... well, clearly, I have some shopping to do.
