As creative director of makeup for YSL Beauté, the B.C. native knows a thing or two about high-impact makeup. (Remember those YSL ads with Cara Delevingne?) During this shoot, Simmonds listed a diverse range of influences, from the morning light on his drive through Toronto to the faces of the models. “If you keep your eyes open, no matter where you go, you can find something in the world that is inspiring; there is beauty everywhere,” he told us. We’d say he’s certainly doing his part to make that true.
