HOME SWEET HOME

Christina Reynolds’ article “Be Still” [ELLE Travel, April 2015] was a great reminder that we can all benefit from a relaxing “getaway” from our everyday lives. I like the idea of taking time out of my busy work life with a staycation. It’s true that when I think of time off from work, I think of travelling to a far-off destination; however, this is not always the best way to relax and recharge, as it often leads to needing a restful vacation after the vacation! I think the next time I have a few days off from work, I’m going to embark on an “adventure in going nowhere”! Thank you, ELLE Canada, for the great inspiration! ATHENA D., TORONTO
