I often start July with big beauty ambitions but soon slip into a Grade 9 summer-vacation approach to life. Naps take priority over responsibilities like making my bed and doing the dishes. Instead of trying to reduce shine, I embrace the glow brought on by the heat and use creamy, easy-to-blend products. Statement sunglasses and a slick of lipgloss become the norm in my low-effort regimen. (I miss my white Wayfarers!) More-complicated beauty efforts can wait until September.
