Tricks (and treats) should not be just for kids this Hal­loween. Grab your favourite ghoul and sock hop/time warp on down to your favourite haunted malt shop (un­dead Danny Zuko cos­tume op­tional) for this spooky, sweet and, oh yeah, spiked frozen treat from Toronto’s W Burger Bar. As lead bar­tender Al­li­son Hur­ley so rightly says: “There’s noth­ing more Hal­loween than a black-and-or­ange milk­shake.” We won’t say boo to that.

Spoon ice cream into a blender. Add whisky and liqueur, a splash of milk and a drop of food colour­ing and blend. Grad­u­ally add more milk un­til de­sired thick­ness is reached.
