from Rwanda and vetiver from Haiti—have helped bring prosperity to war-torn areas across Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean. Now, the Halifax native’s story is the subject of a documentary, Perfume War. Stegemann, who has a nose for inspiring others, hopes the doc incites other niche fragrance houses
to follow her lead.
Andreja Pejic made a major debut this season at British designer Giles’ fall/winter 2015 show—it was her first time on the runway since her gender-reassignment surgery. She’s also one of the new faces of Make Up For Ever, making her one of the first transgender models to score a beauty campaign. “When I found out, I almost died of excitement!
