Dawn Goldworm, a fragrance-industry expert, says that hair is a vehicle for showing off scent, and Adrian Corsin, director of hair-care development for L’Oréal Professionnel, agrees: “When fragrance is sprayed in the hair, it always smells the same, whereas it reacts differently when sprayed on the skin.”
