Channel surfing Made to Measure, the exclusive new fashion channel on Apple TV (from $199, apple.com/ca), has us glued to the screen. A swipe of the sleek remote and suddenly we’re a fly on the wall in Alexander Wang’s downtown studio just 28 hours before his runway show (spoiler alert: there’s a last-minute alteration and—gasp!—not enough time to do it) or watching Karlie Kloss talk ambition and apps with Diane von Furstenberg over tea. Now that’s good TV. Solo Act Remember J.Crew’s bubble necklaces that were everywhere a few years ago? They were the work of Lele (Lisa) Sadoughi, the brand’s first jewellery director. Now, Sadoughi runs her own eponymous line, which arrives at Holt Renfrew in January. The collection consists of playful, feminine baubles, like the Dandelion Pendant, which was inspired by the Texas flower fields of Sadoughi’s childhood. “I designed hand-cut bone cabochons set in gold prongs to resemble the stamens of a dandelion,” she says. “It was a real challenge to make the spherical 3-D piece, but I’ve found that challenges often result in the most interesting objects.” (From $100, lelesadoughi.com)
