The inside scoop on our live February cover shoot.

In keeping with what’s becoming a tradition on live ELLE Canada cover sets, our day in Toronto started with a hair transformation when mane guy Chris Appleton took pop superstar Rita Ora’s signature platinum ’do super-short. And, of course, we caught it all on Snapchat. The style vision from fashion director Juliana was “bright and energetic,” which also describes the mood on-set. Leading the way was (the very downto-earth) Ora, who was up for anything, from a spot of graffiti to a duet with our beauty director’s daughter—which you totally saw on our Instagram, right? n
