I’ve never been one for overly sentimental declarations of love. (Staying in bed all day and eating pancakes is my idea of modern romance.) Which is why I love Tom Ellis’ work in Miranda. The BBC series follows two best friends who can’t seem to get it together and declare their true feelings. It’s my kind of sweet and funny courtship story, with one ridiculous situation after another. This Valentine’s Day, I say we embrace the madcap and the romance—it’s how to have the most fun.
