How to literally stumble upon your next date

Not a news flash: Online dating is hard work. Also not a news flash: The Parisians seem to have figured out how to do everything better than us. Case in point: The new-to-Canada dating app Happn, which took Paris by storm, promises to connect you with all those potential amours you cross paths with daily—and never knew were available too. The app works by letting you know when another user is in your immediate vicinity, shows you their profile and gives you the option to “heart” them. If they heart you back, you can strike up a conversation. If not...well, just keep on moving! You never know who might be in your path. S.L.
