@thecuriousbutton Lying on the beach today reading the @ELLECanada August issue and I was seriously SO THRILLED to see this page full of #slowfashion coverage! It included shopping vintage/secondhand, upcycling denim, handmade artisan shoes, organic cotton and featured @reformation. It’s so uplifting to see popular fashion magazines like this one start talking about ethical, sustainable and slow fashion—fashion’s future! @loveandnudes I had to sit down when I saw this post on @ELLECanada. This is so profound! I am amazed that this was done, to show a black woman in her true African likeness and not in a European way.... This is what needs to be shown in the media. I’ll be picking up the September issue of ELLE Canada. Will you?
