UNDERSTAND THAT YOU CAN ONLY WORK WITH THE BROW SHAPE YOU HAVE...
“Understand that you can only work with the brow shape you have,” says celebrity makeup artist Sabrina Rinaldi. “You can manipulate the shape or arch of your brow within a range, but, just like when you line your lips, if you do it too much, it looks fake.” Generally, she says, the shape of your natural brow is the shape that looks best on your face. (You can find this by letting brows grow out—hands off!—for about a month.) When it’s time to start shaping, use the following as a guideline for which hairs to pluck and which ones to leave alone.
INNER B ROW
The brow should begin directly above the inner corner of your eye.
ARCH
The peak of the brow should align with the outermost edge of your iris.
TAI L
Draw an imaginary line diagonally out from the lower lash line; that is where the tail of the brow should end.
