Honestly, designer Danielle couldn’t get a bad shot of YouTuber Estée Lalonde (see p. 33) when she swung by our office.

We had Canadian YouTube sensation Estée Lalonde in recently to shoot a little video for us. (Check it out at youtube.com/ELLECanada now!) There’s something about her expression here—excited, open, laughing-with-all-her-teeth joyful— that speaks to how I’d like to go into 2017. The twentysomething’s attitude is paying off: Her lifestyle channel has over a million subscribers, she just published a book, Bloom, and she has clearly mastered that whole insouciant scarf thing. (See right.) Hands up if you’ll have what she’s having!
