LIP- LOCK Anyone who has ever worn richly pigmented, long-wearing lipstick will tell you the only downside is taking it off. It’s a problem that Wende Zomnir, co-founder of Urban Decay, knows well. After launching 120 shades of Vice Lipstick last year, the brand has added won’t-move matte and metallic liquid lipsticks. “What if you put one on in the morning and you don’t like how it looks, or at the end of the day you want to change from a bright red to a nude?” asks Zomnir. “How do you get it off without destroying your lips?” That struggle became the impetus for Meltdown Makeup Remover Lip Oil Stick ($18), a clear gelled oil in a travel-friendly tube. Unlike a liquid, it doesn’t have the potential to leak and ruin everything in your purse. (You just swipe it on and then wipe it off.) It also makes a great balm—when you’re not wearing lipstick, of course. From left: Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick in Disturbed, Twitch, Brat, 714 and Rapture ($21 each).
