SCIENCE FAIR

Australian brand Dr. Roebuck’s has bespoke-serum bars that do the mixing for you, sending the vitamin- and hyaluronicacid-infused serum base for a twirl in an on-site centrifuge—along with three to six handpicked actives whittled down from a possible 27 after you’ve filled out a questionnaire. “We ask questions like ‘What happens when you wake up?’ and ‘How do you feel at the end of the day?’ It’s our philosophy to look at skin holistically,” says co-founder Zoë Roebuck, who designed the algorithm that personalizes serums for up to 22 different skincare concerns. (A serum bar will be popping up exclusively at Holt Renfrew’s Bloor Street location in Toronto throughout the year.) Dr. Roebuck’s Bespoke Serum ($150). For details, see Shopping Guide.
