An all-natural liquid lipstick that can hold its own against the traditional lot is here. Burt’s Bees Liquid Lipsticks ($15 each) are pigment packed (courtesy of iron oxides), hydrating but not sticky (thank you, apricot oil) and free of synthetic polymers (so don’t expect any dayslong-wear claims, but we found that they held up through lunch just fine). “We use the same principles to formulate our cosmetics as we do for our skincare, using ingredients that are going to nourish your skin,” says Abena Antwi, chemist and innovation lead at Burt’s Bees. “You’re not just getting colour cosmetics but colour with care.”
