COS’ fall/winter 2022/2023 collection is built on sustainability and scrupulous design.

IN FASHION CIRCLES, THE WORDS “effortless,” “enduring” and “essential” get thrown around a lot. They’re so often repeated because they represent our collective sartorial North Star, the landing place we’re always aiming for. Few brands hit that coveted mark like COS, the destination for elevated and redefined style signatures. The brand’s contemporary designs—think boxy tees, wide-legged trousers and poplin shirt-dresses that would be right at home in a street-style icon’s wardrobe—eschew flashy, attention-grabbing looks for a subtler, more spellbinding effect. If ever you’ve wondered where a stranger’s minimal, seemingly flawless outfit is from, there’s a good chance it’s COS.

Throughout the seasons, the brand has grounded itself in a singular but eternally evolving source of inspiration: the city spirit. Those who challenge societal norms and guide us toward fresh ways of thinking serve as a beacon for COS’ in-house designers, who marry master craftsmanship and tactility in their creation of foundational wardrobe essentials. Each piece is made to last, to outlive the trend cycles and feel relevant at any point in time.

Like any forward-moving modern brand, COS has woven meaningful sustainability measures into its design, seeking out more responsible alternatives at every turn. Whether it’s using GCS-certified cashmere, completely undyed alpaca wool or cactus-derived material that feels as supple as leather, the target is total circularity. In fact, 92 percent of COS’ current collection is made from more sustainably sourced materials, and the brand’s goal is to reach 100 percent by 2025.

For the fall/winter 2022/2023 season, COS is doubling down on its penchant for urban life, drawing on the dynamic energy of cities around the world to inform its newest collection. Featuring a diverse cast of models, the campaign presents a trove of must-have staples: a honey-brown corduroy trench that’s an easy swap for your standard outerwear; perfectly made chunky knits that pair nicely with the brand’s pleated minis and platform slides; and menswear-inspired suiting that’s elevated with sexy details. Consider the style objective achieved.
