Disney’s FastPass+ system allows you to bypass lines at some attractions and shows. Like making a reservation at a restaurant, you can book appointments for things up to a month in advance. It takes a little planning, sure, but you’ll thank your past self as you glide past the three-hour lineup to get into Avatar Flight of Passage.

PACK YOUR RAIN GEAR

If you plan to visit the park in the summer, bring your ponchos, umbrellas and water shoes. From June till September it’s the rainy season in Orlando, and it rains pretty much every afternoon – and the rain can last from 10 minutes to 10 hours.

GET THE REFILLABLE CONTAINERS

Many vendors throughout the park sell souvenir popcorn buckets and fountain drink containers. Once you’ve purchased them, you can fill up your popcorn bucket at a discount and your drink cup for free.
